Everybody gives children the impression that Santa Claus is real. When a child then finds out Santa is in fact not real, the child may start to question other beliefs that are cherished aspects of our Christian faith as well. The non-existence of Santa encourages evils like atheism, which is very naughty indeed.

St. Nicholas, also know as Sint Nicolaas or Sinterklaas in the Netherlands is a well-established and much older tradition than Santa Claus, which is but a weak commercial Americanized reflection of the true Sinterklaas. Even the name "Santa Claus" is spelling out what "Sinterklaas" sounds like when pronounced by an American.

Sinterklaas visits the world the 6th of december, his birthday. Sinterklaas is healthy and lean, not fat. Sinterklaas has a white horse and many acrobatic black helpers. He arrives in a steamship from Spain every year, his home during the rest of the year.

In a straight fight, Sinterklaas could kick the crap out of Santa Claus any day!

a sqeaky clean image coupled with fame CAN win you lucrative commercial endorsement contracts
Our children need to be prepared to face the 'big world'. Santa Claus is an excellent tool to retain the magic of childhood while introducing some important lessons to young minds while they are still impressionable.

And where else will they learn that having good PR, being seen as a 'doer of good deeds' and 'generous and selfless giver' will make you rich? Yes, a sqeaky clean image coupled with fame CAN win you lucrative commercial endorsement contracts!

Santa Claus is an excellent role model for our children to emulate in order to grow up into successful corporate hacks. And isn't THAT the positive lesson we want all our kids to learn?
Nice
Brings joy to millions

Everybody gives children the impression that Santa Claus is real. When a child then finds out Santa is in fact not real, the child may start to question other beliefs as well. The encourages a healthy scientific skepticism in the child, and may lead to reject irrational belief systems. Eventually the child may grow up to be an agnostic or atheist.

Santa is all about pleasure and little girls and boys
Oh, Santa is all about pleasure and little girls and boys, all right....but - whose pleasure?

"Come here, little girl, sit on old Santa's knee and lean in close enough to whisper your deepest secret wish into his ear...."

Teaching kids from a young age that this is not just an OK thing, but a good one that will bring material rewards in the shape of 'presents' - as long as they keep the 'secret' - will certainly bring joy to millions....millions of pedophiles, that is!

The whole Santa mythos is really about the grown-ups, not the children.
The whole Santa mythos is really about the grown-ups, not the children. It gives us a chance to remember our own hopes and dreams as children, and gives us an excuse to brush off the cold cynical darkness of the real world and be joyful for a while by bringing happiness to children. If you want an evil coporate shill who promotes shameless materialism, I present to you President Bush who encouraged us all to go shopping as a response to the 9/11 attack.
